Chase is a champion of caring; he cares about how people feel and carries a tremendous amount of empathy for others. It’s all about “knowing that clients are well taken care of, and that we’re helping them cross the bridge between wherever they are and where they want to go,” Chase says. The WFA motto of Plan. Invest. Inspire. aims to get people thinking about their finances. WFA seeks to plant the financial seed, water it with equal parts caring and knowledge, and then watch it grow.

Chase has a clarity and intentionally about him. He’s walking his path and knows the direction he’s heading. In this episode, Shannon and Chase dive deep into meditation, why Chase loves it, and how he approaches it. He usually finds time in the early morning, in those moments of calm before the storm of the day starts and the kids wake.
“Your mind gets disrupted all the time, but always wants to settle down,” says Chase. Meditation gives him a sense of clarity to deal with whatever comes his way, whether it’s a business decision, dealing with family or personal life.

- Do something for yourself. Chase has an inspiring intentionally to him. He mentions in this episode that people get wrapped up thinking they have to spend hours a day working on themselves, but it can be as simple it’s taking 60 seconds to do something for yourself. This practice allows you to do the best work, live the best life, give the best advice, and just do the best work you can in people’s, lives that you can.
- Crush the basics. Start with the basics, then crush them day in day out. “If you’re good at the fundamentals, you have appropriate technique, and improve your technique, then sky’s the limit, right? Always be improving,” says Chase. There’s a never-ending journey to improve, even if it’s one branch at a time.
- Make sure you do things that you like to do. “You will be far better, you will take yourself further, personally, professionally,” Chase says. It is so much easier to get up and work and crush it if you are passionate about what you do.
